Well this past week has been a pretty good one. It was transfers week and i got a new companion. His name is Elder Mulks...he is six five, so the two of us make a pretty huge companionship! lol. We need to watch where we step so we don't step on anybody. Transfers week is always crazy, just a lot of running around and trying to get caught up. We tracted into this really mean baptist guy the other day who told us we were a part of a cult and that we were going to hell...gotta love those people!! :) Then we tracted into another baptist guy who invited us in, gave us a piece of cake, gave us a pocket sized bible and talked with us for a half hour... Its just so interesting to see how diverse the religions are out here, and how some of them act. We definently see the good, the bad, and the ugly... Two days ago a baptist preacher must have seen us tracting or something because when we made it back to our car...there were pamphlets on our windshield that told us how "we're truly saved". Hahaha. We also knocked on a door and you'll never guess who it was...a couple of Jeehovas Witness missionaries?! hahaha. But they were super nice and we traded beliefs and talked about how rude the people around here can be. Religion around here is very popular, so its hard to find people who are willing to listen to the gospel...haha. We had a thing at our church building called "Meet the Mormons" last night. It was an open house where anyone could come in and there were booths set up and they could just walk around and see what our church is all about. There was actually a really good turn out and we got to talk to a lot of nice people...hopefully we can find succes from that. Elder Mulks and I have been praying a lot about what we need to do to give the work a jump start in Christiansburg. We both felt like we need to inspire the members of our ward to be better ward missionaries and to do a little more. So we're going to try to come up with a way to get the ward excited about missionary work as well. :) THE CHURCH IS TRUE!! :) :) :) Well...thanks for listening to me talk. lol. Thank you far all your letters!! i love y'all!
Love,
Elder Crane
