Well this week has been a good one. Last night Elder Hinds and I were invited to go to a Methodist Christmas party...it was really good! It really helped me to realize that the spirit of God isn't just found inside one of the Mormon churches, but it really is in almost every religion. The choir was aweosme, and it was really funny to see people do double-takes on us. haha! But...for the most part they were really friendly and welcomed us in their church. Linda Miller's baptism is still on for the 23rd! :) She had her interview on Saturday and Elder Leau (the district leader who conducted the interview) told us that she was the most prepared person he has ever interviewed...she has a copy of Preach My Gospel, and whenever we go over there she teaches us the lessons! lol. It is just amazing to see how people run with the gospel once they come to know for themselves that it is true...it's just SO exciting! So that will be a really special day. We have like three meal appointments scheduled for Christmas day so don't worry about us starving on the 25th.




So have you ever heard of the scary movie called the Mothman Prophecies??...well if you haven't, look it up. But anyways that movie takes place not far from where we're serving. I guess its a true story and all the locals swear that they have seen him. lol.



Oh yeah...we had our mission Christmas Party on Thursday in Lexington...it was forcasted to have heavy snow fall Thursday morning so on Wednesday night Elder Hinds, Me, Elder Leau, and Elder Brady all drove up together, the roads were really narrow and very windy. We arrived safely and had our Christmas party. Thanks to all who sent Christmas cards! Our mission president gave all of them to us in one big bag...it was really cool to get tham all together and to read them. :) We were supposed to go back to our appartment that afternoon...but we were snowed in and had to stay until the next morning. So a bunch of elders went carrolling...that was pretty fun. It was fun to stay with a lot of other elders.


Well Christmas is coming fast...this year is nice because i can truly focus on the true meaning of Christmas. Thank y'all again for all that you do, and for all of the love and support that i get on a regular basis. I love y'all. :)
