Hello Family,
this week has been a great week. The people here are super humble and are almost always willing to at least hear ya out. i sent a few pictures with this email. the log cabin: we are teaching people who actually live in it! the black lady: thats Yvonne, shes really funny. And the other one is my companion, Elder HInds.
We're teaching this one guy who calls him self Cuzn Nick, hes a rapper, and hes really funny. He gave us a sample of stuff he raps about and we asked him if he could rap about something...a little nicer. hahah! so he told us that he was going to make one on prayer and put it on a cd for us! its going to be awesome. we are having a Baptism on the 23rd, which is going to be really good. Her name is Linda and shes had two of her kids die on Dec 23rd, and thats Joseph Smith's birthday...so its going to be a really special day for her. The work is going great and Lynchburg is awesome. There is a ton of history here...i hope that i can see all the stuff! I can't believe that Christmas is a coupld weeks!...it still feels like August to me. it is going by waaay too fast.
I got a couple slips in the mail telling me i have packages...i havent been able to pick them up yet so thank you to who ever sent them! im going to wait til christmas to open any packeges i get from here on out.
