Hey y'all!
well its been another good week. We tracted into Reverand Bernard Jefferson...he's a holliness preacher for his church, which is held in his basement! hahaha. We are teaching him and he seemed excited to read the Book Of Moromon. :) Holly cow, you should hear the way these people pray...its a lot of hand raising, screaming and saying "THANK YOU JESUS!!!" lol. It is an interesting experience when they pray for us. lol. When they pray, the people usually shout out weird sayings like....yes lord, praise the lord, come to me jesus, yesssss, etc. So when he was praying/yelling...i said "yes jesus!" Then Elder HInds did it too...it was really cool, and we were embracing the culture! :) We plan on teaching him how to pray with reverance and with the spirit at our next visit. He holds church in his basement and we offered to come and preach to his people...he said we could! So we're trying to set something up where we teach his church...it'll be really fun. :)
