So it was transfers this week...and im stayin in Lynchburg! Elder Hinds is staying here too, which is awesome. President Thornock said that when he got to us he just knew that we were supposed to stay together. Which is good...i never want to leave this place, i love it! :) So this week Elder Hinds got sick and we had to stay in the apartment ALL day long...holly cow, i now know that i never want to go to prison. It was absolutely brutal. haha ok not that bad, but it was pretty bad. I read forever, but you can only read for so long. So that was kind of frustrating, but hes feeling better now so thats really good. Earlier this week we had a refferall for somebody who ordered a Book of Mormon from mormon.org. So E. Hinds and i drove to his apartment and got in only to find out that he was a student at Liberty (the baptists' version of byu), and all he wanted to do is bash with us. I got a little frustrated and started to bash back...you should never do that because all it does is drive the spirit away and cause contention. He tried bringing up some doctrinal issues with mormonism that we quickly answered, then i brought up some issues with his religion that he couldn't answer. I thought it would make me feel good, but i felt horrible. I will never bash again! There are just so many lost and confused people and I want to show them the right way...but you have to show them in the right way, with the spirit. :) Let the spirit do all of the teaching! The weatherman are saying to prepare for heavy snowfall and ice...goody. The church is true, there is absolutely no way that it isn't. i love y'all!
